 At TLK we specialize in obedience training.  Our basic training is a 7 day program and your dog will be taught to sit, walk on a leash without pulling, come when called, no jumping, and to stay. At the end of the 7 days, the owner will come to the Pet Lodge for an instructional time before you see your pet.  After this time, we will have you observe what your pet has been taught and then we will re-introduce you to your dog and you will walk through the commands. You will also receive 4 training videos of your dog's training. The cost for Basic Obedience training starts at $725, (plus a boarding charge which is offered at a 30% discount during the 7 day stay).  The price for training may vary according to the age and breed of the dog. 

 This is for dogs that have training needs beyond those skills which are covered in the basic obedience - behavioral issues such as excessive barking, fearfulness, aggression, anxiety, or severe issues with jumping or not coming when called.  During this training, basic obedience skills are taught, but we also work through your pet's particular behavioral issues. The cost for behavioral training starts at $750, (plus a boarding charge which is offered at a 30% discount during the 7 day stay). The price for training may vary depending on the individual dog's issues and age. 

 This training is for dogs with very severe fear-aggression and biting issues. The commands which are covered in basic obedience are covered in this program as well, but the aggression/biting will be addressed in this training. The cost for Severe Aggression Behavioral Training is $850+ depending on the particular issues, (plus a boarding charge which is offered at a 30% discount during the 7 day stay). 

•  All training is done with positive reinforcement and correction.  We do not use shock collars.
  
• Please let us know if your dog has any particular problems, especially aggression.
  
• TLK reserves the right to determine if your dog needs more than just the basic training, and the type of training will be discussed with the owner. Certain dog breeds are subject to higher rates.
  
• When you schedule a training, TLK requires a $200 non refundable deposit to secure the reservation.
